How to Get Started
Whether you need a policy to protect your business or you’re an agent wanting to work with NICO, getting started is easy. First, tell us who you are so that we can help you get started.
If you’re not already a NICO policyholder and are interested in a policy to protect your business, you’ll need to work directly with a retail agent. If you don’t already have a retail agent, use our Find an Agent tool to get connected to one of our contracted wholesale agents who can help you find a retail agent. If you’re knowledgeable about what kind of insurance you need, you can also opt to use our Get A Quote tool. After entering some initial information around your business insurance needs, you’ll receive an instant quote for the coverages you selected.
Note: Keep in mind that a quote is just an estimate. If you wish to purchase an insurance policy from NICO after reviewing your quote, you’ll need to work directly with a retail agent.

If you’re a retail agent looking to get a NICO insurance policy on behalf of your client, you’ll need to contact one of our wholesale agents. NICO has a network of more than 100 contracted wholesale agencies across the country who can help you. Our wholesale agents can answer questions you have about our coverage options and provide you and your clients with a NICO insurance policy.
You can get a quote in one of two ways. The first is using our Get A Quote tool for an instant premium estimate. The second way is to contact one of our wholesale agents directly.
